Membership in Altrusa is extended to individuals who are of good character and must either be employed in a business or profession or a civic minded individual that is retired and seeking membership in a service organization.  We achieve as a group what individuals cannot do alone.

Being a service organization we offer the opportunity for you to serve your community with other people who also value service.  It provides networking opportunities, and long lasting friendships.

We feel membership in Altrusa is an honor and it is also an opportunity to meet people that have the same desire to work together in helping others. We encourage all members to attend meetings on a regular basis, participate in club projects and serve on committees.

Annual membership dues are $105.00 a year. Once you become a member you are a part of an International Organization that is made up of 14 Districts throughout the world.  You will be invited to participate in annual conferences, workshops and leadership training seminars. These conferences are a great learning experience and also much fun. It is an honor to be an Altrusan. 

As the founder of Altrusa International Mamie L. Bass put it best; “It is not enough to be good, Altrusans, must be good for something”
